What is mesotherapy?

Mesotherapy is one of the treatments that help transport active substances deep into the living layers of the epidermis. It uses the phenomenon of electroporation, which is the reversible damage of cell membranes under the application of an electric field.

Electroporation is caused by short electrical pulses of high voltage. Thanks to them, channels are created in cell membranes, allowing the penetration of macromolecules. The process of pinocytosis is also stimulated, which prolongs the effect of active substances in the skin even after the treatment.

In addition, the effect of the current is enhanced by the action of the ultrasonic wave. It improves the permeability of membranes, which facilitates the penetration of substances and the removal of metabolites.

To meet the expectations of the cosmetic market, MaxMedik has produced a needle-free mesotherapy device that uses a solution not used in any other device of this type. In most of them, an alternating current of sinusoidal, triangular and rectangular waveforms was used for operation, in which the intensity increases and decreases in a gradual manner. In our apparatus, the triangular current increases gradually, but the decrease in intensity is rapid, plus there is an immediate change in the direction of flow. This improves the quality of electroporation, the effects of the treatment are intensified and prolonged.
